Senior Software Engineer (Elevated Careers)

- Work with internal and external resources to implement and integrate new and existing systems - Create modules to extract features and signals from diverse data collections - Process large data logs to detect patterns and insights - Build tools to improve the targeting and relevance of eHarmony’s job matching platform - Work with Machine Learning specialists, Product Management and QA Teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems

- Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience - 5+ years’ experience in Software Development, ideally with Java - Minimum 8 years working experience in several of the following: - Search (SOLR/Lucene) - Hadoop/MapReduce and other technologies for working with large volumes of data - Designing and implementing restful services - Working on a consumer-facing enterprise internet property - Designing large scale, high performance, distributed systems
