SQL Server Database Administrator

* SQL Server database installation and creation * Setting up and installing application and database servers (standalone, clustered environment) * Performance tuning of the database * Providing high level support to customers * Ensuring database backup and recovery * Taking help desk phone calls during off hours * Applying SQL Server patches and database upgrades * Other DBA duties as assigned

* High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) to six (6) years of experience working with SQL Server databases * Knowledge of AIX, Oracle (Solaris), Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems * T-SQL experience * Experience in Clustered SQL Server architecture * WebSphere Commerce Administration a plus * Oracle Database Administration a plus * Knowledge of WebSphere a plus * Cognos Administration a plus * Experience with Tools like Toad/SQCMD * Strong analytical and customer service skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * SQL Server database installation and creation, setting up and installing application and database servers , AIX, Oracle (Solaris), Linux, T-SQL
