The Corporate Attorney provides guidance to a variety of internal departments including Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, International and Licensing, Retail, and Product Development.

• Meeting with internal clients to determine legal issues on a wide variety of topics and providing them with timely, concise and effective advice
• Reviewing marketing programs and materials to ensure legal compliance
• Reviewing, negotiating, supporting contracts including software licensing, IT consulting, marketing, IP license and partnerships
• Providing legal guidance regarding privacy practices including privacy policy and incident response plan
• Assisting in the management of the IP trademark and patent portfolio
• Supporting HR regarding employment issues with assistance of outside counsel
• Providing litigation support as needed with assistance of outside counsel
• Supporting additional projects assigned by the General Counsel

• Minimum of 5 years' practice; in house experience a plus, retail legal experience preferred
• Clear communicator, with strong legal and general writing skills
• Must have a common sense approach to issues
• Ability to interact with internal clients and external parties
• Must be able to multitask and change gears from one matter to another when necessary
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• JD Degree from accredited law school
