Summary
Ebates is seeking a data ninja for our Marketing Analyst position. You’ll be responsible for slicing and dicing Ebates’ marketing data to support the marketing team as they grow/optimize the Ebates marketing programs. You’ll be working closely with all members of the marketing team, assessing return on investment of all marketing channels, analyzing trends in marketing data, investigating data anomalies, and working on customer segmentation. There will also be plenty of juicy ad hoc projects to keep things fresh and interesting. This position will impact overall company performance, so only apply if you want to make a difference.
Responsibilities
* Monitor daily reporting, identify issues/opportunities and escalate to the appropriate marketing channel owner * Work with marketing team members to identify new reporting or data requirements, document requirements, build reports and co-ordinate with engineering to provide the necessary data points * Investigate anomalies in marketing data, and assist in any clean up or communication required as a result * Undertake studies of marketing data to optimize the marketing program and drive business decisions
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working as a marketing analyst for an ecommerce website * Experience with a variety of reporting platforms and analytical tools * Experience writing queries, stored procedures or functions in SQL * Experience with Google Analytics implementation and reporting * Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment * Experience working on multiple projects at the same time, with short deadlines * Experience communicating analyses and fielding questions from executive team members **Requirements:** * 2 plus years experience working as a marketing analyst at an ecommerce website * Extensive experience with SQL, including coding stored procedures (postgres, SQL Server, or Impala experience preferred) * Extensive experience working with Google Analytics, including BigQuery * Experience working with reporting tools (Tableau preferred) * Working knowledge of website security tools such as Incapsula preferred * Experience working with third party marketing vendors desirable
