Data Scientist

Work closely with various teams—especially Product, Business Operations, Marketing—to identify and prioritize what questions we need to answer.

Build production systems to analyze internal data and create new data points

Build reports and tools to visualize the data in a way that goes beyond a quick trend chart

• Experience doing analysis in Python, and/or R.
• Experience working with large data sets (tables with over 100 million rows).
• Experience with Hadoop.
• Experience building interactive visualizations in Tableau
• Strong business sense and general good judgement.
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to self-manage, work in an unstructured environment
• Desire and willingness to take on new challenges and learn new things.
• An understanding of how to use data within a team to solve real-world problems
