HR Director

Today, EAT Club is the largest business-focused online lunch delivery company in the US. We currently serve the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. We collaborate with the best local restaurants to provide quality and affordable meals that are prepared fresh daily. We also prepare healthy and tasty food in EAT Club’s own kitchens.

EAT Club is seeking a seasoned, high-energy, Human Resources person to lead all HR matters for the company. Based in Palo Alto, CA, this position will partner with our business managers and Finance & Operations leadership to provide consultation and support on all HR initiatives in the areas of employee relations, administration, performance management and legal compliance.

* Identify compliance risk and proactively implement plans to mitigate it. Supervise all administrative tasks and responsibilities regarding HR compliance. * Design and implement processes for staffing & recruiting. We are growing fast, and need structure and support to grow the team * Implement performance management processes and coach other business departments on how to execute. * Design & implement programs to increase retention and improve employee happiness. * Revamp company policies to reflect current state of the business and mitigate risk. * Design benefits plans, as well as handle communication with all departments/employees in the company. * Respond to employee questions related to benefits, employee relations, company policies and other issues * Manage, coach and develop a small person team (one to two people).

* At last 3 years of previous experience in a Human Resources role * Experience in Compliance for part-time, remote employees, is a big plus * Bachelor’s degree is a must. Master’s degree is a plus * Exceptional organization skills with a high attention to detail and quality. * Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking with good judgment. * Willingness to travel around the Bay Area, and to LA and our future markets.
