Home Sales and Operations

Earnest is a technology enabled lender that evaluates a person’s full education, employment, and financial profile.

As Home Sales & Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily home loan Sales & Operations with originators and production staff. This position is best for someone who enjoys hands-on involvement in managing sales and client fulfillment in full compliance with the various laws, regulations, and standards related to home loans.

• Supervise licensed loan officers in their day to day efforts
• Work with the occasional consumer or MLO to structure their transaction in the most beneficial way
• Coordinate with our Growth team
• Work with the Design and Engineering team to improve our UI and UX
• Assist in the constant improvement of our operational work-flow
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures set forth by State, Investor, Agency and Company requirements
• Develop and monitor management metric reporting and staffing models
• Accomplish results by communicating, planning, documenting and monitoring results

• More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of Mortgage Risk, Operations, and Origination
• Management experience expected
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Dodd-Frank
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion with attention to details
• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence of compliance; this includes documentation such as P&Ps, process flows, and management reporting
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex or cross-functional compliance projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
• Demonstrated leadership ability/ability to work in a collaborative environment
