Summary
E! News is looking for a Multi-Platform Content Producer who will be responsible for developing video based content concepts for potential use across all of E!’s platforms, channels and social media accounts. Job includes a heavy amount of content ideation, script writing, as well as intermediate levels of shooting and editing content concepts. Also responsible for asset coordination of all self generated projects.
Responsibilities
* Develop, document, and refine content pitches * Continually lead and participate ideation sessions, create pitch documents, presentations, etc. * Write scripts and treatments, work with larger group to guide creative direction of all personally owned projects * Shoot/edit video packages for presentation to creative executives, manage rounds of notes during editing in conjunction with post production supervisor * Coordinate work output with tv production, design, and post production teams * Regularly report on and ideate off of new video editing and production methods in the online/social space
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * Minimum 2 years video editing, writing, and production experience on any platform (TV, Digital, Social) * Experience with Final Cut Pro &/or Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects) **Eligibility Requirements:** * Willingness to work in Los Angeles, CA and Universal City, CA * Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice when necessary * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation * Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States * Must be 18 years or older * Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program **Desired Characteristics** * Strong grasp of video editing and post production processes * Deep knowledge and love of pop culture content across multiple categories (tv, movies, film, sports, tech, politics, internet culture) * Ability to work independently in a highly creative and deadline driven environment * Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Photoshop
