Business Development Analyst

DPI is a management consulting company seeking a Business Development Analyst with excellent attention to detail. You must be a self-starter that's incredibly organized and can work independently. The Business Development Analyst leads processes for identifying and qualifying opportunities for DPI. This position reports directly to DPI’s COO and has direct exposure to DPI’s management team. As a relationship-oriented professional, the Business Development Analyst focuses on strategic research for new business, partners and competition. The analyst will work with proposal management and working through the proposal process. The analyst will also monitor databases for new opportunities and pipeline.

- Pipeline development, client facing/capture and proposal management - Download opportunities from agency and paid databases - Call Contracting Officers and Program Managers to identify opportunity status - Conduct research to filter and qualify opportunities - Produce lead reports - Attend industry and agency specific business events - Lead opportunity discussions with partners - Identify relevant Requests for Information and coordinate responses - Lead go / no go discussions with DPI’s management team - Regularly (daily) and consistently use DPI’s CRM system to maintain customer and opportunity information

- Bachelor’s Degree - 4-10 years business development/pipeline/proposal experience - Consulting/Civilian Government background
