Dwolla, one of the fastest growing technology companies, is actively seeking a B2B Content & Public Relations Specialist to play an integral role in our B2B content creation, public/media relations, corporate communications, awards submissions and securing speaking engagements. You'll be a key part of our continued growth!
- Collaborate and lead B2B content creation (Create 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics. Examples include: ebooks, white papers, client testimonials, guides, etc.)
- Use your media contacts and story-telling ability to connect with and pitch influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and initiatives in multiple markets
- Manage all PR efforts including writing and editing company press releases, byline articles and infographics
- Direct, implement and manage company analyst relations efforts
- Manage customer case study program and partner relationships therein
- Serve as primary editor for all externally facing content
- Drive all customer speaking activities, partnering with internal subject matter experts to create submissions, develop content and prepare them for press opportunities
- Evaluate and manage event sponsorship opportunities and awards submissions
- Work with marketing to define positioning and messaging strategies to use with media
- Report on PR and B2B content creation’s impact on quarterly KPIs
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
- Experience pitching, crafting, and placing content externally through guest blogging or op-ed development
- Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content
- Technology and digitally savvy
- Strong and proven experience with both B2B and B2C
- Proven experience getting press coverage in multiple markets
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment, and able to juggle multiple projects on short deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Familiarity with SEO is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively, as well as with a team
- Positive attitude and problem solver
