Manager of Internal Audit Team

The Manager of Internal Audit is responsible for the overall audit program for Dunbar Armored, Inc. and related companies. This position will report to the VP of Finance. The Manager of Internal Audit will coordinate all aspects of Internal Control and operational audits throughout Dunbar’s 120 locations nationwide. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive as there may be other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Dunbar Armored Inc. and related companies.

* Oversee all aspects of the Company’s internal audit function. * Develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures and programs. * Plan and manage staff across simultaneous audits in multiple locations to accomplish the Risk Based Annual Audit Plan. * Supervise conduct and report on the testing and the adequacy of internal control procedures. * Investigate and determine the cause of irregularities and errors. * Recommend Corrective action and suggest improvements. * Preparation of audit reports. * Advise Senior Management on Audit and Internal Control Matters. * Communicate audit results in an objective and accurate manner to all levels of management (Senior, Financial and Operational). * Participate in special projects and compile a variety of special reports as required. * Ability to travel 10-15% nationally. * Other duties as required or necessary.

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Auditing required, with a CPA or CIA preferred. * Six years’ experience working in an accounting and/or auditing position preferably in the security, transportation, or related industry, including three years management experience. * Must possess excellent interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills. * Management experience supervising a team of two to four people. * Limited travel required
