Mutual Fund Representative

Mutual Fund Representatives utilize DST-designed and built software and systems to evaluate, verify and process financial transactions and service requests from multiple parties in the Financial Services Industry: shareholders, third-party entities,institutions, broker/dealer operations, or fund companies. Our Associates research and resolve transactions in a deadline driven atmosphere, using mainly computer-based communication and tools.

• Assess processing requests to determine the nature or type of action being requested and accurately process each requested financial and non-financial transaction.
• Evaluate and/or verify service requests for each requested financial and-financial transaction including, but not limited to purchases, redemptions,maintenance, transfers, exchanges, and new account set-ups.
• For each processed transaction, verify all appropriate paperwork has been collected and completed accurately.
• Research and follow up on outstanding items necessary to complete the transaction.
• Research identified problems, document findings and return transactions with issues/errors to the processor for resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree
• Problem solving and numerical reasoning skills; ability to analyze data and take action
• Career oriented, highly motivated, and self-starting individual
• Highly detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Experience handling money
• Efficient time management with strong organizational skills
• Experience with tax rules and investment procedures helpful
