Responsibilities
**Duties and Responsibilities:** The Full-Time Business Development Manager will develop and conduct the evaluation and implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under direction of the Vice President for Business Development. They will provide strategic and tactical input to the business development leader by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities and conducting market analysis. They will identify and explore customer needs and provide assistance in the planning, designing and implementing of business plans. They will assist with the follow through and deployment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics in coordination with other departments and/or functions. They will have to participate in and lead customer engagement meetings. They will develop and track project schedules and participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships. They may be assigned to manage Business Development staff. They will support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization. **Secondary Accountabilities:** The Business Development Manager will make presentations on the company portfolio of products and services. They will attend business meetings and trade shows as requested.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Required Qualifications:** - U.S. citizenship - Hold or be eligible for a secret security clearance - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering or related discipline - Planning, organization, project management, and time management skills - Ability to work on complex problems - Knowledge of, and experience with DOD and Navy requirements, resourcing, and acquisition processes and community - Experience with DOD and Navy advanced technology development communities, such as DARPA, ONR, and Navy Laboratories - Strong analytical and financial skills **Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:** - Hold or be eligible for a Top Secret security clearance with SSBI - Master’s Degree
