Summary
The Security Engineering team is responsible for making sure all our products are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about security and helping us build features that will protect our users. Dropbox is frequently targeted by hacker groups who find creative ways to abuse Dropbox and harm our users and our brand. The Abuse Prevention team is responsible for building systems to detect and stop any malicious activity against the product, such as account compromise, malware, spam, phishing etc. We’re seeking for talented engineers who are passionate about building systems to protect our users and brand.
Responsibilities
* Build infrastructure to detect and stop attack activity in real-time * Analyze product usage and build algorithms to detect malicious activity * Work closely with the product teams to harden product features against the attacks * Advise engineers and teams on security issues; you’ll be involved with every aspect of engineering here at Dropbox!
Ideal Candidate
* B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience * Strong interest in security and attack detection * Background in data analysis is a plus * Independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
