We are building a global network of partners that include mobile operators, broadband providers, hosting companies, and other channels that will become resellers of Dropbox’s products around the world. This person will establish partnerships that maximize the impact of these channels on driving Dropbox revenues globally.
- Work closely with product, legal, engineering, marketing, and finance to identify, structure, negotiate, and formalize partnerships.
- Collaborate with leading cloud service marketplace and management platforms in order to grow our funnel of potential partners and optimize their go-to-market approach.
- Work with our business intelligence team to identify data-driven insights that allow us to improve our partnering approach.
- Communicate to internal teams with progress reports for partner pipelines.
- Be an evangelist for Dropbox at relevant industry events.
- Ensure that partners are getting the highest possible value from Dropbox and our solutions.
- BA / BS from top tier university.
- 3+ years of Business Development experience with a B2B software company
- Experience with strategic partnerships for a technology company
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong executive presence and track record of building executive relationships
- Comfort & familiarity with product and technical discussions around productivity, security, and compliance solutions
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Legal
- Creative and always looking for new ways to solve complex issues
