Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Lead

As the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Lead, you’ll have broad exposure to various teams within Dropbox. You'll building strong internal business partnerships and will also interact with a number of external business partners. We’re looking for someone to take ownership of the financial reporting process and work to build a stellar reporting system from the ground up.

* Help develop internal and external reporting function within Dropbox to foster clear communications with necessary stakeholders * Manage the preparation and coordination of internal and external financial statements * Prepare and review the financials and footnotes * Analyze new and proposed accounting standards * Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to the accounting organization * Partner with various internal teams as well as external partners * Complete ad hoc projects as necessary, such as technical accounting issues

* CPA with 4+ years experience in accounting with both a Big 4 accounting firm and top tier tech company * Top performer that is willing to dive into the details, and looking to gain experience and grow with Dropbox * Detail-oriented with great project management skills, but comfortable with ambiguity * Advanced knowledge of GAAP with strong problem solving skills to deal with complex transactions * Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners * Execution focused with the ability to take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a timely manner
