Senior Product Manager

The Sr. Product Manager will lead and manage the day to day product management operations of Backline®, our HIPAA-compliant secure messaging platform specifically designed for use in healthcare environments to help providers achieve better care coordination, better health outcomes, better transitions of care and lower hospital readmissions. This position will primarily be responsible for the product vision, road map, and every component of the product management life cycle working with internal and external stakeholders to help in market penetration and user adoption including evaluating and working with 3rd party vendor integrations.

* Provide product leadership, direction and vision to the Backline® team from conception and strategic planning through requirements definition, development, launch, and post-launch customer satisfaction * Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to come up with strategy and plan to integrate with 3rd party vendors including but not limited to EHR/EMR, ADT, Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Physician and Nurse Scheduling, User Directory, Clinical Alarm, Alerting and Notification, Lab Results, and Imaging Systems. * Work with the sales and account management teams to understand customer requirements, research and provide assessment to the market needs , plan roadmap, successfully launch and deploy Backline along with other partner relationships and the rollout of services to partner clients * Track, analyze, and manage financial KPI’s and related product metrics * Identify, guide and report any impediments, issues, or risks and provide solutions to solve these challenges that could impact the success of Backline launch and roll out * Develop and maintain understanding of healthcare industry, market, and regulatory trends specific to secure communications and collaboration * Anticipate needs arising from company goals/objectives and provide guidance on industry trends to incorporate and make Backline® stay ahead of the curve * Guide and hold team members and clients accountable for their commitments, milestones, and deliverables * Responsible for building stronger relationships with our current clients * Work collaboratively with software development and across the organization to ensure that product releases can be deployed, trained, and supported well and on time with quality.

* Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, technology or information sciences healthcare, or related field preferred * 5+ years of healthcare product management experience with a focus on EMR/HIS vendors like Epic, Cerner or Allscripts * Experience working on integrations with health IT vendors is strongly preferred * Deep understanding of secure texting and messaging solutions in the healthcare marketplace is a huge plus * Combination of business and technical acumen, with at least some understanding of technology * Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills * Highly organized with a strong attention to detail with skills to analyze and solve the problem analytically * Deep sense of product ownership across all aspects of the solution * Demonstrate flexibility, open mindedness and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment, and foster the same behaviors with others **Physical Requirements:** * 75% Desk/phone work * 25% Travel
