Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated AP Accountant who will be a key player in supporting DrFirst's accounts payable processes and providing analytical support to help drive the Company’s continued growth. The AP Accountant will partner with various parts of the organization to ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The AP Accountant will also play an important role in the monthly close and will identify key financial and analytical data for reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
* Enters invoices into accounting system, ensuring appropriate GL coding as well as departmental review and approval. * Maintains accurate and complete schedules of accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets on a monthly basis. * Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks. * Distributes signed checks as required. * Answers all vendor inquiries. * Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files. * Assists in monthly closings. * Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. * Performs filing and copying. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
