Dow Jones Technology is looking for an experienced Program Manager that is responsible for managing priority projects within the CyberSecurity group. As Program Manager, your job is to plan, forecast, oversee and manage the project portfolio for the CyberSecurity function. The Program Manager will work with management and multiple groups to track and manage the scope and progress of each project.
- Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects
- Develop detailed schedules, work plans and resource maps
- Track and assist in managing the project efforts within the CyberSecurity team
- Produce and manage budgets and forecasts for the team
- Provide clear but thorough verbal and written communications to stakeholders regarding the status of the project portfolio
- Proactively identify, manage and resolve issues and risks
- Liaison with internal cross-functional teams – Finance, Product, Technology, Infrastructure , Legal, Information Security, etc
- Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ensure project stakeholders and management are kept appropriately informed of project status and that there is sufficient record of meetings and decision-making
- Manage departmental level reporting, including metrics and management dashboards
- 10+ years project management experience managing all phases of multifaceted projects including planning, cost management, resource management, communications and quality measurement
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher
- Effective team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ideal candidate is a self-starter, confident, energetic, positive, focused, dependable, adaptable, proactive, resourceful and possesses a “can do” attitude
- Ability to work well under timeframe pressure, handling multiple projects at the same time and posting colleagues on progress regularly
- Strong familiarity with technical concepts and tools such as: information security, infrastructure platforms, software architectures, and cloud environments
- Microsoft Project and other project and program management tools
