Summary
The Manager, Campaign Performance is responsible for leading and managing the Campaign Performance team in general account management, tracking delivery, creating performance reports, optimizing digital ad campaigns and billing reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, attention to detail and strong analytical skills. The Campaign Performance team partners with Campaign Operations, Planning & Strategy and Sales to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager, Campaign Performance will work closely with WSJ Custom Studios team in helping to shape custom programs around performance data. This role requires communication both with internal and external clients. The candidate must be patient, flexible, enjoy a fast paced environment, dedicated to client satisfaction and team oriented. The Manager, Campaign Performance must also possess superb time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage domestic Campaign Performance team to ensure quality and on delivery of all standard and custom campaigns. * Support team in monitoring campaign first party and third party ad delivery. * Directly manage and develop strong relationships with clients for highly visible programs. * Develop and evangelize performance benchmarks across Dow Jones for standard and custom programs. * Complete and present quarterly Performance Council to internal partners. * Partner with Custom Studios on all custom executions to ensure advertiser KPIs are being tracked and met. * Partner and lead vendor exploration for new ad servers and social syndication partners. * Oversee monthly billing and reconciliation. * Identify issues and work through resolution to completion, escalating or delegating when necessary.
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years minimum of online advertising and analytical experience. * Strong capacity work with internal partners to improve processes and develop best practices. * Ability to multi-task and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment * Ability to work under tight deadlines * Understanding of ad-serving technologies. DFP/DFA, Native ad servers a plus. * Understanding of analytics tools. Omniture, Google Analytics, SimpleReach, Moat. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Strong written and communication skills * Ideal candidate is someone who possesses the ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision. * BA/BS preferred
