AR Accounting Assistant

Responsible for multiple types of data entry in to accounts receivable system. Daily, weekly and monthly reconciling of entries made to accounts receivable system. Preparation and distribution of reports and maintaining spreadsheets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Enter and balance payments received from various sources • Reconcile all payments daily, including credit cards processed through Edgil • Process weekly and monthly Brainworks close • Requires late hours on closing day Process weekly and monthly Brainworks close • Print manifest reports for Composition department • Enter adjustments to AR in to Brainworks • Mail out Brainworks invoices and statements • Maintain envelope stock for invoice/statement mailing • Enter rate contracts into Brainworks • Facilitate mailing out of weekly/monthly customer tearsheets • Reprint customer receipts and invoices Secondary Duties: • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Take the initiative to research and resolve problems encountered during performance of duties, with assistance from coach when needed • Strive to improve skills and learn additional tasks. • Meet established weekly and monthly deadlines. • Communicate professionally, whether in person, over the phone, or in writing. • Work exceptionally well with internal and external customers to meet or exceed expectations • Participate in company and team meetings and huddles, celebrations, and training sessions. • Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team • Able to prioritize multiple tasks • Perform other duties as assigned by coach.

Education and/or Experience: • Two or more years of relevant work experience. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Ten key proficiency. • Basic computer knowledge. • Proficiency in Excel • Successfully complete training and orientation.
