Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of processing payroll to ensure a timely and accurate delivery of payroll and all related reporting. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company located in the Northwestern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will bring previous in-house payroll processing, in addition to benefits administration and accounts payables.

* Process in-house payroll; hourly, salaried and commissioned payrolls * Enter, prepare & distribute payroll on a weekly basis * Reconcile payments and reports for accuracy and compliance * Tax and ACH wire transfers * Handle unemployment claims * Process garnishments * Involves multi-state payrolls * Provide customer service to all levels of the organization * Accounts payables * Benefits administration

* A minimum of five years in-house payroll experience * Organization skills - the ability to multi-task, set priorities and follow up on all commitments * Experience auditing payroll and tax reports, scheduling and transmitting vendor interfaces, managing time and attendance vendors, troubleshooting is required * Requires strong verbal, written and analytical skills * Must have proven customer service skills and results oriented * Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Excel, MS office, H.R. and payroll applications is a must.
