Software Developer - Service Now

This person will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic team in DISH IT playing a part in the build-out of Service Now and IT Automation projects enterprise wide. Service Now is a newly-implemented solution at DISH with an exciting roadmap over the next few years. You will be joining the Development Team to help expand the tool with new functionality and capabilities that reach across the company providing efficiencies and process improvements to a variety of business units.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: * Work as a member of the Service Now development team configuring new applications and workflows to improve capabilities and efficiencies across the DISH organization. * Work with stakeholders and process owners to understand requirements. * Execute development plans by enabling out-of-the box functionality as well as building custom scripts and workflows. * Work with TQA and end users to ensure new functionality passes testing and defects are resolved in a timely manner. * Multi-task across the entire IT Service Management platform handling development work in all applications. * Cross-train and support other tools for IT Operations.

A succesful Software Developer - Service Now will have the following: * Bachelors degree (B.A.) and two years of related experience; or three to five years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2-3 years of overall systems admin or development experience required. * 1-2 years of Service Now administration experience preferred. * High Energy, Charismatic, Pride in their work, and a strong desire to learn. * Experience in the full web stack: Javascript, PHP, SQL. * Professional experience in the ITIL space desired.
