Sales Planning Coordinator

Discovery Communications is a global mass media and entertainment company. The company operates through U.S. networks; international networks; education; and other segments. It owns and operates television networks under many brand names, including Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science, Velocity, Discovery Family, American Heroes, Destination America, Discovery Life, Oprah Winfrey Network, Eurosport, DMAX, and Discovery Kids.

Participate in all aspects of the development of sales proposals and client accounts as assigned by Sales Management team

* Track and maintain new client and existing advertising agency business * Review and revise sales flowcharts/orders for account manager, and advertising agencies * Track and maintain Condecine Brazil requirements * Track consumption and pacing on active accounts * Review and monitoring pre-emptions, manual invoices, to include the managing discrepancies and reconciliation at month end * Providing reporting to clients for pre & post campaign * Work with account manager on sales projections tools for management reporting * Work closely and maintain rapport with sales, production, traffic and other internal departments * Support ad-hoc research request and production follow up with DCG * Work with digital team on reporting & tracking of digital campaigns

* Candidate should have 3+ years-related experience, preferably television environment. * College degree or equivalent experience preferred. * Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English a must. * Excellent computer skills including Window, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must. * Should be self-motivated and able to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously. * Candidate must be team oriented and committed to providing an extraordinary level of service to clients. * Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
