Running Specialist

Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. is an authentic full-line sporting goods retailer offering a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel and footwear in a specialty store environment. The Company owns and operates Golf Galaxy, LLC, a golf specialty retailer and eCommerce websites and catalog operations for both Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.

Duties:

• Fulfill the company defined customer experience by being a friendly, available, customer focused, excited team member

• Drives sales through community involvement by local market races to promote the Company as a destination shop for running enthusiasts

• Provides technical support based on in-depth product knowledge to other associates and customers on all footwear merchandise with a focus on merchandise geared towards runners

• Organizing and displaying merchandise to company standards

• Consistently promoting company programs including warranty sales, scorecard, private label credit card, etc.

Skills:

• Candidates must be flexible in working a rotating schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner and listen attentively to others

Experience:

1-2 years of related experience preferred
