Processing Associate (First Shift)-Ecommerce

DICK’S Sporting Goods was founded in 1948 when an 18 year-old Dick Stack was working at an Army surplus store in Binghamton, New York. An avid fisherman, Dick was approached by the store owner to come up with a list of products needed to get into the fishing tackle business.

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking full-time distribution center Processing Associate to join our team in Atlanta, GA! Processing Associate Duties:

• This Processing Associate position is for our first shift scheduled Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:45pm, Friday 6:30am-2:30pm) and with some additional pre-scheduled shifts required as business need dictates.
• Processing Associates at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Distribution Center are responsible for achieving company objectives by overseeing specific operations within the Atlanta Distribution Center.

Essential functions of this position include:

• Ticketing merchandise and verifying that price is correct
• Verifying correct produce serial number
• Verifying correct quantities for store and case pack
• Performing correct pick for store item and quantity

• Ability to stand, bend, reach above head, climb stairs, stoop, push, and lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Basic manual dexterity
• Ability to reach and recognize applicable numbers, follow verbal directions, and communicate verbally
• Ability to keep pace with production standards
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
