F and S Maintenance Associate

DICK’S Sporting Goods was founded in 1948 when an 18 year-old Dick Stack was working at an Army surplus store in Binghamton, New York. An avid fisherman, Dick was approached by the store owner to come up with a list of products needed to get into the fishing tackle business.

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate for to join our team! This position will support one of our locations that features both a DICK’S Sporting Goods and a Field & Stream store under the same roof. This unique shopping destination will offer the convenience of being able to purchase all sporting goods and outdoor needs at one time, in one location.Every associate at

• Perform cleaning of facility, including floors, restrooms, trash removal, display items, glass surfaces, etc.
• Assist with transporting merchandise for customers throughout the store.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Ability to meet the Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm transactions by successfully completing a background check
• As business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary

• Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner and listen attentively to others
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stand as well as ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly required
• 1-2 years of Retail Maintenance / Operations experience preferred
• Knowledge of maintenance equipment helpful
• Ability to meet the Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm transactions by successfully completing a background check
