Summary
Sr. Product Developer - Bakery Responsibilities: · Responsible for the development of new or reformulated products according to the product brief. This includes the performance and conclusion of the technical risk assessment and the delivery of the product brief within the requested period. · Point person for the customer’s development team guaranteeing successful delivery of customer projects · Provide coaching and development of technical skills to team · Comply to the raw material approval process and collaborate with the Procurement Specialist function in order to guarantee timely availability of raw materials for product brief execution · Collaborate with the Pilot Plant Team to ensure the realization of all product samples to be delivered to the customers within the requested time-frame · Responsible to deliver accurate product trial details to and to collaborate with the Commercialization Coordinator to guarantee accurate and on-time set up of factory trials · Collaborate and align with Technical Service for a successful commercialization of new product developments · Ensure an accurate and timely communication of product brief status to BD sales and other stakeholders Sr. Product Developer - Bakery Requirements: · BS in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Culinary Arts · 5 years + progressive experience in bakery product development · Expertise in dough processing and baking technology · Expertise of bakery stabilizer, color and flavor ingredients systems · Expertise in development of speciality bakery products with low water activity · Expertise of specific bakery analytical requirements to deliver new products · Problem solving, strong analytical skills · Strong computer skills · Previous SAP experience a plus
