Junior Visual Designer

he Visual Designer will be developing interfaces for various mobile and wearable platforms.

You can expect to work closely with our Lead Designer and take on responsibilities that push you to learn and grow your skills.

Passion for the mobile and wearable user experience is important.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with other design team-members to bring engaging and innovative user experiences to life
• Continuously demonstrate mastery in the formal elements of design: color, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, typography, emphasis, and unity
• Create pixel perfect UI elements: illustrations, icons, photos and production of meticulous visual design comps
• Create and manage visual design documentation, style guides, and specifications
• Collaborate closely with development engineers to make sure designs are implemented as intended
• Create visual prototypes for usability testing
• Create visual design deliverables for entire project under the guidance of Lead Designer
• Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design skill and stylistic breadth. REQUIREMENTS

• Must have passion for creative excellence, unbelievably great taste, and a love of design
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
• A solid portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills
• Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
• Organization skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in visual or graphics design
