Accounting Specialist

Today’s local businesses often find themselves in direct competition with national chains or subjected to the pricing whims of local on-demand companies.

This position is responsible for the monthly closing of the books and records of the Company, including journal entries, account reconciliations, SOX Controls, Financial Statement preparation and support of audits.

* Prepare and process journal entries, including revenue, payroll, employee benefits, treasury, fixed assets, capitalized software and expense accruals * Analysis of Managerial financial results including support schedules * Prepare Account Reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy of account balances * Support Audit/Review of Company financial records, including externally reported documents (10-K, 10-Q)Analysis of Managerial financial results including support schedules * Prepare SOX documentation and test of key controls

**Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * 2- 4 years related work experience * CPA Desired **Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** * Working knowledge of accounting * Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills * Problem solving, analytical skills
