Summary
The Maintenance Utility Employee assists with the operation and technicians to turn the aircraft for on time departures that would lead to equipment delays or flight cancellations. This worker maintains the physical condition of equipment and the physical cleanliness of the buildings or facilities. They utilize motorized equipment to deliver tires or brakes to the aircraft or any other aircraft parts and equipment to ensure an on time departure.
Responsibilities
They are also responsible for the environmental cleanliness / compliance of the department. This position is mainly an outside position that requires the individual to work in the elements daily.
Ideal Candidate
**Job Qualifications:** * Must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. * Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. * Must meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions including the ability to lift at least 70 pounds. * Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. * Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. * For the rate information for this position, please see published pay scale. **To qualify for this position you must:** * Have a valid driver's license * Be able to pass an extensive drug test and audiogram * Be authorized to work in the US * Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
