Dell Services is looking for a communications lead for the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical in Plano, TX. This role will be a part of the Dell Services influencer relations team and will also work very closely with the Dell Services healthcare leadership team. Dell has been ranked the number one Healthcare Technology Services provider six years in a row. This individual will manage the PR program for Dell Services healthcare to elevate healthcare messaging, position Dell as a leader in the healthcare industry, and publish thought leadership. Responsibilities will include planning an external communications strategy; working closely with the PR agency on press releases, media briefings and event participation; working closely with the healthcare Analyst Relations lead and healthcare marketing teams; keeping all stakeholders across the business informed and connected; and managing approvals. This person will work closely with the rest of the communications teams across Dell and Dell Services to ensure coordinated messaging and outreach.

* Raise awareness, understanding and advocacy around Dell Services’ end-to-end capabilities in the healthcare space * Meet regularly with stakeholders to proactively identify upcoming announcements, new offerings and/or campaign launches and create and execute communications plans * Manage communications efforts across multiple stakeholders, including executive-level input and approvals and coordination with communications counterparts across the company * Work closely with social media counterparts to further amplify Dell Services’ leadership in healthcare Identify and onboard subject matter experts to help evangelize and produce content on behalf of Services This person should have a good sense for what content resonates with audiences

* Degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field * At least 5-7 years' experience working in a PR or communication function * Experience working in the healthcare industry in a communications role. Experience with healthcare IT is a big plus * Excellent writing, relationship-building and oral/written presentation skills * Ability to establish and meet deadlines, work with multiple stakeholders, set expectations, manage competing priorities, work under pressure and handle multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills * Candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, results oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment
