Services Enablement Architect

DataStax delivers Apache Cassandra in a database platform purpose built for the performance and availability demands of IOT, web, and mobile applications.

As a Services Enablement Architect, you would set the technical direction for field enablement on DataStax products and services. You would have a key role in enabling partners and the DataStax team in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

* Lead the architecture, design, and development of hands-on labs and exercises for technical enablement of the DataStax services technical field team * Provide thought leadership on the services enablement infrastructure and drive its evolution * Provide direction for lab developers * Set direction for technical aspects of the services enablement strategy * Coordinate the work of cross-functional teams, including Enablement, Product Management, and Engineering * Coordinate with field and other SMEs to incorporate best practices into enablement programs * Ensure that services new hire technical bootcamps and enablement programs arm consultants with the technical skills needed for success in the field * Manage other services technical enablement programs as needed

* 5+ years of experience in an application development or consulting role, including customer-facing experience * Minimum 3 years software development and engineering work experience * Experience in both traditional RDBMS and NoSQL databases * Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills * Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts concisely * Ability to craft innovative technical enablement solutions in a fast-paced environment * BS in computer science or a technical field * Deep experience with DataStax Enterprise and related technologies preferred * Strong knowledge of datacenter architecture particularly multi-datacenter and global deployments preferred * Instructional design and technical writing skills preferred * Experience as a technical trainer preferred * Certification development experience preferred * Experience in a Consulting role within an Enterprise Software company preferred * Requires travel up to 25%
