Summary
Datadog is looking for an intern to join our Product Management team. You’ll be part of a team in hyper-growth stage and gain experience working with different parts of the organization to scale an enterprise product.
Responsibilities
* Support the entire product development lifecycle, partnering with resources from Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing. * Gather requirements from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, and translate those needs into product backlogs and plans. * Follow industry trends through exploring complementary and competitive products, meeting with partners, attending conferences, and investigating new technologies. * Contribute to company-level product planning by developing concepts into specs, evaluating them, and participating as we define strategic product goals. * Support feature launches, which may include orchestrating testing, documentation, training rollout sequencing, customer communication, and adoption measurement. * Work with partner companies to explore and drive business development initiatives. * Present current and future capabilities to both internal and external audiences.
Ideal Candidate
* You love being challenged, constantly want to grow your skills and learn new things, and you’re extremely passionate about what you do. * You are an entrepreneurial spirit who does not wait for things to happen. * You have a background in computer science. Engineering internship experience a plus. * Prior internship experience in a product management, project management, or product-oriented technology role is a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
