Summary
Datadog, a NYC based fast-growing software startup, has been increasing revenue month over month. We are seeking an Associate Events Manager to help expand that even further as we scale up our presence at various key industry events and more. Responsibilities
* Support the creation of engaging experiences to generate leads that drive our business. * Champion/spearhead 300 – 30,000 person events such as conferences, workshops, and tradeshows in addition to internal company events. * Help to manage all pre, during, and post event logistics from beginning to end. * Manage and track event budgets, expenses, KPI, and ROI. * Prepare and help to negotiate various event sponsorships and contracts. * Partner with internal teams to identify and help create new event opportunities. * Experiment with promotions and other outreach efforts pre/post show. * Work cross functionally with teams to help drive leads for conferences and events.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year top college or university. * 2+ years experience in event coordination/management. * Excellent written, verbal communication and analytical skills. * Superb project management skills. * Ability to work in a high performance culture while juggling various projects. * Organized and strong attention to detail. * Acknowledged for thinking outside the box. * Desire to be a part of something big and learn as much as you can in the process. * Outgoing personality with a passion for events and creating memorable experiences. * Willingness to travel up to 50%.
