DAQRI is looking for an experienced Linux application developers with a passion for packaging the latest cutting edge capabilities into applications with great looking, intuitive augmented reality user experiences to take the lead in developing apps for the DAQRI Smart Helmet. This person will develop applications for our industrial smart helmet to enable faster learning, greater safety, and industrial process efficiency boosts.
Responsibilities
* Develop user interface centric applications on Linux or Android based Smart Helmet * Ability to translate product requirements and concepts into software designs and implementation taking scalability and performance into consideration * Analyze requirements, wireframes and capabilities of related systems to propose appropriate solutions
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Requirements:** * Ability to turn UI/UX designs into functioning code * Ability to collaborate with UI/UX designers * Proficiency with C++, Qt, GTK+ * Ability to collaborate with other application and platform developers **Bonuses:** * Experience with Vuforia or ARToolkit * Experience creating mobile or embedded applications * System integration experience with any of the following: web services (REST, SOAP), SCADA, OSI PI Server, SAP, Salesforce.com, Inventory management systems, databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) * Knowledge of 3D modeling * Knowledge of industrial environments, processes and control networks * Knowledge of business * Desire to learn new skills and increase knowledge regarding the future of work
