Patent Engineer

The Patent Agent/Engineer is responsible for harvesting software related inventions that will contribute to the development of our patent portfolio. This person will be measured by their ability to understand and capture inventions from our technical team and communicate the concepts to audiences of varied technical competency.

* Conduct patent mining sessions * Support inventors in drafting of invention disclosures * Communicate inventions to members of the intellectual property community for approval * Draft and prosecute patent applications * Prior art analysis

**You're a great fit for this role if you:** * Understand complex technology concepts in context and are able to communicate them to technical and non-technical people alike * Have an interest in or follow computer vision technologies, sensor fusion, general algorithms, 3D graphics * Are outgoing and able to work collaboratively * Love working in a fast-paced, quickly-growing technology company **Requirements** * Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar * Registered Patent Agent admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office preferred, not required * Experience with or exposure to software development * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
