Summary
Commerce Real Estate Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager in our Boise, Idaho market. Provides senior project management experience to designated projects and assignments through personal interaction with clients and internal and external project management staff, monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvement consulting services.
Responsibilities
* Chairs and schedules meetings, prepares agendas, develops and maintains master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met. * Prepares and coordinates project reports and drawing reviews for clients and project team at all project phases including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases. * Assists in the selection and contracting process of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project. Integrates the impact of other Project Management components, including brokerage (work letter development), building operations as they relate to each project and project phase. * Reviews requisitions, change orders and other invoices associated with the project. * Participates in marketing services to clients * Observes corporate policies and procedures. * Maintains high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance. * Strives constantly to improve skill and work knowledge; keeps up to date in the field of specialization. * Cooperates with other personnel to achieve corporate goals and objectives as to quality, service, cost and profit. * Reports to immediate supervisor major problems and findings and results achieved with recommendations. * Clears through channels organizational changes contemplated, actions planned implying commitments, and expenditures in excess of approved budget. * Establishes goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervised. * Selects subordinates with approval of appropriate supervisors; delegates to each necessary authority and responsibility for performance of assigned functions. * Trains, develops, motivates and disciplines subordinates as necessary to meet established goals; reviews and appraises their work performance. * Implements government laws and regulations and adheres to established rulings of government authorities. * Carries out responsibilities in a professional, courteous manner at all times. * Supervises project activities for individual project management assignments and oversees the activities of project team consisting of external professionals including Engineers and Architects. * May be required to determine and report on progress of work. * Supervises project managers setting clear goals and objectives. * Interacts with executive level clients and ensures individual project budgets are met. * May be required to travel to various project sites.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * B.S. Degree in Engineering or Architecture required. **Work Experience:** * Minimum of seven (7) years directly related experience in a construction/design project accountability role or a minimum of ten (10) years equivalent combination of experience in an advisory and/or engineering supervisory capacity required. * Healthcare experience required. **Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:** * Software Competency: Microsoft Project and Excel. **Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:** * Excellent client relations, client management, and consultation skills required. * Proven leadership ability, administrative ability, technical background and project responsibility experience required. * Superior oral and written communication skills required.
