Summary
As an intern within the product marketing group, you will be a core part of a tight-knit team responsible for packaging, positioning, pricing and the ultimate launch of the Curalate product and partnerships. In particular, you will participate in the development and execution of the Go-To-Market strategy for new and existing products, specifically for improvements to our consumer touchpoints that live on client e-commerce sites. Drive overall competitive understanding, create and manage key PMM-owned Go-To-Market enablement tools—e.g. demo environments, white papers, areas of Curalate website that is specific to products and Curalate experiences, etc. Act as the liaison between Product & Engineering and Marketing & Sales on competitive issues - the voice and translator of competitor offerings and landscape Develop a program and strategy to enable sales and client services to cultivate expertise in the products you launch. Represent Curalate products and brand for client discussions and at various industry events and trade shows. Cultivate a strategic vision for the organization which takes into account competitive landscape, product strengths, and business growth objectives. Responsibilities
* Gather, organize, and analyze competitive intel, customer feedback, and industry trends as input into our product roadmap and conversations with clients. * Analyze and track competitive threats and trends within the industry and provide strategic evaluation. * Collaboratively build schedule of releases with Product Marketing team while managing internal communications and trainings for your launches, which will focus on e-commerce site experiences. * Work with Marketing to develop and communicate externally facing documentation describing the value proposition and use cases of Curalate products, features, partnerships & services. * Work with Product Management and Engineering to develop new product specifications and to prioritize incoming product requests based on customer goals and use cases. * Participate in partnership discussions for custom opportunities with partners in e-Commerce, including reseller relationships. * Develop pricing and packaging for existing and new products. * Represent Curalate at sales meetings as a product expert. * Liaison with internal Curalate teams to communicate the latest releases and be an evangelist for Curalate. **Sample Summer Projects:** * Design, manage, and iterate on a system for providing our client teams with intel on our competitors and their capabilities. Translate this intelligence for Product teams to inform our product roadmap and positioning in the space. * Launch upgrades to our consumer-facing products by coordinating release with Product Development and packaging the releases for Sales and Client Services teams. * Create a proposal around the packaging, positioning, and product strategy needed to tackle a new market.
Ideal Candidate
**About You:** * Experience working with technology products, in a digital marketing agency, or in a tech-facing consulting/business role. * Understanding and interest in digital advertising technology, marketing strategy, product development, advertising, lead generation, and the digital media ecosystem. * Strong execution abilities and excited about working with diverse teams every day. * Creativity and independence is expected – with personal leadership on owned projects. Must be passionate about and able to break down large problems into manageable bits. * Must be passionate & enthusiastic with a "hands on approach."
