Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide analytical insight to the senior management team. The ideal candidate will have Sr. Financial Analyst level work experience, which includes providing visibility into the financial implications of key business decisions.
Responsibilities
* Build strong partnership with business leaders to achieve forecast accuracy * Identify and implement scalable financial processes and system improvements to support the growth of the business, including reporting automation efforts and defining opportunities for increased efficiency with internal processes and communication. * Define, source, analyze and report key performance and productivity metrics across functional business units, allowing team leads to make informed business decisions on resource allocation.
Ideal Candidate
**Desired Qualifications:** * Contribute to cross-functional initiatives including, evaluating, structuring, and executing business objectives and budget/forecast management processes **Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field * CPA or Big 4 experience, a plus **Experience:** * Minimum 3-5 years in a professional finance environment. * Must have working knowledge of financial statements, (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and how those statements are derived. * Cash/ Balance Sheet forecast preferred, but not required. * Experience calculating, evaluating, and presenting key performance indicators. * Hands-on experience with the ability to handle high volume and complex data sets. * Exposure to and knowledge of various business unit functions and processes. * Ability to multi-task across a broad range of responsibilities and work in a dynamic environment. * Must be self-motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess initiative, problem definition and resolution skills, and strong analytical skills. * Needs to be a team player who can achieve corporate objectives. * High-tech, start-up, rapid growth and/or publicly traded company experience preferred. **Technical Knowledge:** * Exemplary Excel skills * Exemplary in the use of Business Systems (ERP, Financial Reporting, CRM); Adaptive Insights, a plus * Proficient in other Microsoft Office Products * Strong understanding of US GAAP
