Summary
The Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will use their expert financial modeling and analytical skills to provide inside into the overall health of the business. They will liaise with business leaders to understand and forecast where each functional area is headed. In addition, they will partner with the Senior Director Finance and Operations as well as the Corporate Controller to produce the requisite charts and graphs required for both internal and external reporting.
Responsibilities
* Manage the financial forecasting process for the entire company. * Develop an agile forecasting model that can easily be imported into Adaptive Insights. * Provide strategic finance support for buy side transactions. * Recommend key resource allocation inclusions / exclusions on an on going basis. * Partner with business leaders to develop new financial models in order to expand their businesses. * Develop product line P&L’s to determine true profitability for all the company’s service offerings. * Collaborate with the profession services organization to help mange their profitability through utilization and pricing. * Generate pricing sensitivity analysis to aid the pricing committee to make optimal decisions. Partner with product marketing in sizing our addressable market. * Partner with the CIO and Dev Ops to understand our COGS and aid in its reduction. * Partner with sales and marketing to determine sales efficiency ratio’s and analysis. * Provide timely variance analysis on actual results vs. forecasted results. * Aid in the construction of the board / audit committee decks. * Liaise with investors and lenders and provide them with required reporting.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 7 years of financial modeling / planning experience. * A degree in business / finance is required. MBA preferred. * An investment banking background. Bulge bracket investment bank preferred. * A minimum of three years in a SaaS business. Security experience a plus. * Expert in Excel, Powerpoint, and a business forecasting tool. Adaptive Insights a plus. * Good working knowledge of SFDC, and a hosted ERP.
