Position provides firewall administration and support for a large enterprise.

* Configures and maintains firewall policy. * Adheres to change management requirements and processes. * Assists with incident resolution. * Assists with firewall optimization initiatives. * Assists with various projects. * Documents work performed. * Proactively identifies/makes recommendations on potential security issues and solutions. * Assists with code upgrades. * Represents Cybersecurity organization professionally in interaction with internal business partners and other IT Support groups.

**Required Qualifications:** * CCNA is required credentials will be verified. * 0-3 years of IT experience with a 4-year degree or 3-years without a degree. * Strong TCP/IP foundational knowledge. * Ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity. * Knowledge of foundational protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and ARP. * Detail oriented, “can do” attitude required. * Ability to work independently and as a team member. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments. * Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. **Desired Qualifications:** * Current Cisco CCNP Security certification. * Two or Four year degree in relevant field. * Additional industry certifications. * Demonstrated commitment to personal and team success. * 4-6 years of relevant work experience in IT in a large enterprise. * Knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and signature based intrusion detection. * Experience with Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewall Solutions. * Experience assisting other teams with the analysis of application problems. * Experience analyzing network traffic logs and trend analysis. **Degree Requirement:** Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience
