Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture in the Group CTO organization is a global team that owns the strategy and vision for IT Infrastructure and drives and oversees the implementation through the product delivery organizations. We define architecture standards that cover process, design methodology and integration. The team also drives innovation in TS, incubating new and emerging solutions that will aid our IT and business partners in taking advantage of the accelerating rate of technology's evolution. Ideal candidates will possess both architecture and engineering/delivery experience to enable a comprehensive dialogue with our product delivery and application development partners and delivery of incubation projects.

* Develop three-year strategy, architecture and roadmap * Perform architecture/design oversight though formal review and informal collaboration, ensuring alignment with strategy, standards and best practices * Survey emerging technologies, interpret market trends and generate analysis * Implement proofs-of-concept through incubation projects * Act as subject matter expert to product delivery and application development organizations through strategy development, solutions architecture and innovation collaboration

* Proven ability to develop architectural methods and modules and apply successfully within a large organization * Capability to be an effective technical leader and drive innovation globally; can move between strategy, architecture and execution disciplines * Application development experience in any common development language e.g. C/C++, Java/J2EE, C#/.NET, JavaScript etc. * Application server platforms e.g. Weblogic, Microsoft middle-tier * Container standards e.g. Docker, CoreOS and PaaS/cloud deployment e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine * "DevOps" technologies and principles e.g. test automation, continuous integration, etc. * Strong technical background in server hosting infrastructure * Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior managers and clients * Candidates with background in two or more languages and alternatives such as Ruby, Python or Scala
