Summary
As a key member of the central CRM team, you will play a hands-on, critical role in developing digital marketing campaigns in support of the Crain Brand digital marketing initiatives utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget). The successful candidate will work in collaboration with internal teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical executions. Additionally, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting when necessary.
Responsibilities
* Building and executing email campaigns, Maximize ROI by leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead relevant scoring programs. * Advise internal CRM users on utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver digital campaigns-activities include, but not limited to, journey and automation flow and builds, email design and best practices, outbound landing page creation, form creation, media placement tracking, segmentation, social integration and leading the Integration of Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud, etc. * Advanced knowledge of SQL, CSS, HTML to build audience segmentations and facilitate automation and journeys across all channels – web, mobile, email. * Provide ongoing support and training to internal CRM teams as business requirements evolve. * Partner with CRM consultants to provide design, development and maintenance services for our ExactTarget/Salesforce.com integration. * Perform ongoing pursuit of industry knowledge, best practices and trends as it pertains to marketing automation and campaign management. * Continual development of marketing automation education & required participation in online communities to expand learning opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
Key Competencies * Excellent and proven written communication skills. * Winning, team-based and entrepreneurial attitude * Passion for marketing, technology, and the network engineering space * Strong understanding of outbound, inbound and nurture marketing best practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed team environment * Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects with tight timelines while working independently or in a team environment * Well-rounded marketing technologist familiar with industry best practices (inbound/outbound marketing, demand generation, etc.). * Knowledge of the latest industry developments (ex: responsive layouts and interactive elements), technologies (ex: HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, JavaScript and AmpScripting). EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * College degree required. Specialization in marketing and analytics preferred. * Media (B2B & B2C) experience a plus. * Candidates must have current Sales Force Marketing Cloud-Exact Target experience-Version 2.0 experience
