Summary
The Associate Marketing Manager – Music is a combination of avid music lover and disciplined project manager. Our music program continues to evolve bringing in a wide array of artists and styles. We will be counting on you, under general supervision, to handle the daily details of the music marketing program--corporate sponsorships, digital activations, physical CD releases, event marketing, music promotions, and in store marketing.
Responsibilities
This position will be involved in a wide variety of activities and have exposure to almost all departments at Cracker Barrel. You will be customizing programs, recommending marketing changes, negotiating pricing, compiling reports, updating company stakeholders, working with social media teams, working with retail and ecommerce, and maybe a little more. Your days will be busy and fast paced with no two exactly the same. * Develop and implement music marketing programs covering in-store and digital platforms. * Develop supporting programs and materials-print, digital, and social media. * Works with assigned agency to run the day to day project implements of featured music release. * Evaluate and track the effectiveness of each program and recommend changes as needed. * Work closely with music team/artists/cross functional teams and keeps stakeholders up to date on current projects.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Project management skills to organize tasks and time lines. * Ability to manage marketing plans that drive sales in a complex environment. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Proficient computer skills—Microsoft suite of products—with an ability to quickly learn new software. * Proficient in social media channels-development and sharing of content. * Knowledge of digital music space, licenses, and royalties. * Budget planning and tracking skills. * Strong analytical and decision making skills. * Strategic and creative thinking skills. **Preferred** * Passion for entertainment or music Industry. * Familiar with music industry AND retail merchandise marketing in brick and mortar and e-commerce.
