Senior Technology Business Management Analyst

Cox Enterprises is a leading communications, media and automotive services company.

The Sr. Technology Business Management Analyst works closely with various IT service owners to gather, design and advise on the development of key performance measures, service costing, and financial transparency. This role will be responsible for maintaining the current Apptio financial transparency implementation, while supporting the IT Service Costing efforts within the organization, to drive transparency of IT spend. This Analyst will support Cox Enterprises, Cox Media Group, and Cox Talent Acquisition.

* Engage with senior IT leadership to drive adoption and mature reporting to deliver increased value * Works with larger IT performance management team to align financial analysis with business objectives * Support IT Finance in the development of new costing models and chargebacks * Acts as a subject matter expert on the Apptio Model and educates others * Performs monthly data loads and audits integrity of data to ensure Apptio model loads are accurate * Make adjustments to the Apptio model as the company changes and needs mature * Creates and distributes routine and standard reports, analyzes data, provides assessments of trends, identify and explaining variance from goals * Support IT Governance around the cost model and ensure divisional models are aligned

* Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, IT Management, or IT Service Management * Undergraduate degree required * Specific knowledge and application of IT services and financial management including budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application / infrastructure support required * Ability to formulate conclusions and provide summary analysis and interpretation for leadership * Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must; proven business analysis skills * Strong to expert skills in data analysis, with the ability to learn new tools quickly * Proven self-starter – able to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance * Demonstrated ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, and also work well in a team environment * Exceptional financial acumen and attention to detail * Solid communication and presentation skills; executive presence is a must * High-level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments * Experience with Apptio, BI tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, etc.), or Database Administration **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous IT Financial costing and chargeback development experience is a huge plus * ITIL or ITSM knowledge, a plus * Strong experience with Apptio preferred * Undergraduate degree in Finance, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar field desired
