Summary
The Dealertrack Brand, part of Cox Automotive, is looking for a Database Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of data collection and database maintenance across the company’s portfolio of properties. You will own data quality and enrichment, and provide a high volume of quality contacts to marketing managers and the digital marketing teams as they create marketing campaigns for various channels and ultimately drive leads for sales.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases. * Work with web manager and other operational teams to manage data integration between on and offline software programs * Understand the business needs in order to execute segmentation around brand plans * Devise and implement segmentation, using testing and targeting to maximize lead acquisition and conversion * Use collected customer data and behavior analysis to provide recommendations in how to optimize campaigns in order to meet marketing goals and objectives * Perform data extraction and assist marketing teams with creating campaign targeting lists * Use reports and dashboards to provide visibility into database marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness, including lead distribution, opportunity stages, pipeline contribution, and ROI * Manage database marketing third party vendors and internal resources * Read technical journals and/or manuals, attends vendor seminars, and takes advantage of appropriate professional development opportunities to learn about new database marketing techniques * Develops strong partnership with marketing managers and digital teams
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or related area * 3-5 years of experience with campaign management software in a database marketing role working with key direct marketing concepts (customer segmentation, test and control methods, lifecycle marketing, and common analytical methods to achieve required ROI) * Prior experience with Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo or another marketing automation platform would be an advantage * Must have solid understanding of and experience with relational and non-relational databases * Strong data management & data manipulation skills * Proficiency with Data Mining tools is an advantage * Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a requirement, working knowledge of Access and any other analysis tools is preferred * Strong collaboration skills, ability to work with others at different levels in the organization * Strong ability to pick up new systems and processes and meet deadlines
