Marketing Associate

You will be supporting the Senior Marketing Communications Manager with content creation and execution across multiple channels (social, blog and email), with a strong focus on social media and content marketing. You will play a key role in driving our storytelling strategy and in shaping the way we promote our courses, professors, industry partners, and learner testimonials. You should be very familiar with social media best practices and trends, and comfortable tracking and reporting on key results from social campaigns. Ideally, you’ll also have some experience developing briefs and working with creative teams to ensure marketing material is on brand and aligned with strategy.

* Work cross-functionally to develop a monthly content calendar * Brief creative strategy for social content across our channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Coursera blog) * Execute regular posts throughout the week * Manage our social communities by responding to learner questions and comments * Compile, analyze and deliver social media performance reports and insights * Develope storytelling strategies for learner stories * Promote stories on owned distribution channels * Support the Marketing Communications Manager to make sure content across email and paid digital strategies is on brand

* 1-3 years of work experience * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Experience working with creative team and providing feedback * Some experience analyzing key metrics and optimization (ie. Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.) * A demonstrated passion and knowledge of social media * Exceptional organizational skills and a great attention to detail * Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment
