Responsibilities
* Working in a manner that places safety of personnel and the environment as the highest priority, and in accordance with ConocoPhillips SPIRIT core values. * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment. * Maintaining maintenance records and tracking activities in a computer base maintenance management system. * Generating detailed work records and hand over notes to facilitate proper communications between work crews. * Troubleshooting to identify the root cause of equipment failures. * Working with vendors over the phone to procure parts and materials, and to set work scope and plan details for field service representative visits. * Supervising vendor field service representatives when called out to perform maintenance on equipment. * Participating in safety observation program, incident investigations, and safety meetings. * Learning and working within a wide variety of Company and regulatory policies and procedures (e.g. Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work, etc.). * Accepting direction from supervisors and team leads while working effectively in a strong team environment and maintaining good working relationship. * The successful candidate must possess the ability to work unsupervised. * In addition to possessing the skills and knowledge to perform the tasks listed above, he/she must also be capable, but not limited to: * Climbing various ladders and stairs to operate valves or perform maintenance on equipment, (the ladders and stairs range from 5 to 40 feet in height). * Raising, transporting, or pulling on heavy articles, performing general physical labor. * Using hand tools and power tools (electrical and pneumatic) * Working in inclement weather * Working around high-pressure equipment * Completing various paperwork associated with each job task.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic/Required:** * Legally authorized to work in the United States * Valid driver's license * 3+ years direct experience with maintenance work * Proficient with Microsoft Office products * 1+ years experience using FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) camera **Preferred:** * 3+ years mechanical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry * Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments * Actively communicates and takes time to safely perform work to protect our people and environment * Transmits information so it is received and understood in the way it was intended * Manages tasks to effectively and efficiently complete work responsibilities of self and others
