Summary
Condé Nast Entertainment is seeking an inspiring video editorial and product leader to drive the growth of The Scene and grow engaging user experiences. As the Site Director, you will lead the editorial and product strategy, from establishing the creativity of the video editorial calendar to evolving the product to drive traffic and engagement. This position reports dually to the EVP and GM Digital Video and the EVP, Production and Programming. We are looking for a creative executive with a strong "voice" and a product streak. The position will collaborate closely with the marketing, product, technology, and audience development teams at CNE to achieve platform goals.
Responsibilities
* Set the editorial tone and content strategy on a daily basis, while continuing to evolve the platform to reach digital traffic and revenue goals * Oversee all daily lineups with attention to a first-to-publish perspective, and data-driven insights * Manage all programming on desktop, mobile and OTT platforms * Partner with the product and tech teams to develop and execute innovative new features and applications * Contribute to the development and testing of new customer-facing product features * Analyze performance of content, always seeking ways to improve * Adapt programming and scheduling strategy to meet audience goals * Inform Creative development team, marketing and programming of trending topics and opportunities * Partner with Condé Nast Brands to bring best in video to The Scene platform
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of relevant work experience in the video space Ability to analyze data and use audience research, data and metrics to identify programming and scheduling opportunities Experience in scheduling broadcast or video channels Experience working with digital channels and product teams Excellent collaborator with creative and data peers.
